Ashley Tisdale Looking at Remake
Ashley Tisdale, who is the driving energy in the Disney’s “High School Musical” movies playing rich-girl Sharpay Evans, is making a deal with United Artists to star in a remake of “Teen Witch.”
“Teen Witch” is owned by MGM and opened in the theaters in 1989.
Tisdale recently finished working on a comedy “They Came From Upstairs,” which is her theatrical film debut.
Tisdale started preproduction on Disney’s “HSM” phenomenon, which is opening, first time ever, as a theatrical feature in October.
Tisdale is also working on starting a career as a producer with one-year, first-look deal with FremantleMedia North America.
