‘My One and Only’ Adds Bacon
George Hamilton is an icon for suntans and the last of the Hollywood studio days. I remember his angst in the full blow soap opera movies shot in Cinemascope.
Lately, Hamilton’s ”My One and Only” has been in the movie business news. It’s road-trip story based on his childhood adventures as he and his brother took a trip with their eccentrically glamorous mom, who drove along the East Coast looking for a rich man to take care of the family.
The latest news is Kevin Bacon has joined the cast, including Renee Zellweger, Chris North, Nick Stahl and Logan Lerman.
Bacon is set to play the philandering band leader their mom tries to leave.
Sounds like “My One and Only” is coming into full fruition as filming has begun in Baltimore.
