 I went to the Kit Kittredge official site perused around, and now, I want to take my daughter to the movie. The cast alone means a great movie, which includes Joan Cusack, Julia Ormond, Chris O’Connor, Stanly Tucci and Abigail Breslin. What an ensemble!  Cusack appears as a wacky librarian who can’t drive worth a darn.  Tucci is a magician while Ormond an endearing mother of Kit, played by the adorable Breslin.

I even perused Rotten Tomatoes, which gave Kittredge 6.6/10 or 79% Certified Fresh, “Refreshingly sweet and sincere, Kit’s doll-and-book-inspired do-good mystery may be geared towards the tween girl but will please audiences of all ages.”

It looks like I will be in a movie theater this weekend enjoying an American Girl story.
